Hi i have 2 lovely photos of a soldier (ww1) called Joe Clark who had written to my great aunt giving his/her address as Gargreave Farm , Kirkby in Furness.i cannot find him on the census and wonder if any one could help me please to see if he is named on a war memorial in the village as I don’t think he survived ( don’t know he is regiment etc either) thank you in anticipation.
