Meetings

The History of Kirkby Group meet on the 3rd Monday of every month (except August and December) in the Kirkby Community Centre at 7.30 p.m. Everybody is welcome (you don’t have to be a member of the group). Please join us and find out more about the history of our village and the surrounding area. Contact any Committee Member for further information

Membership

The Membership fees of the History of Kirkby Group for 2024/25 are:- 

  • Full member, living in Cumbria – £10.00
  • In full-time education – £5.00
  • Living outside Cumbria – £5.00
  • Cost of meetings – £2.00 for members; £3.00 for non-members
They are reviewed each April at the AGM.
